Description

House was built in 1901 to worship Thanh Hoang Bon Canh and commemorate the ancestors who reclaimed and built the village, the ancestors and to remember the old village. At the end of XIX Century, the first peopl migrated from Tan Khanh Ba Tra to Tan Khai to setle down. In 1912, the Frendh Colony established Tan Khai village in which "Tan" is from Tan Khanh" and "Khai" means reclaimed Because of many historical events, from the first establishment year in 1901 to date, Tan Khai Communal House had been displaced for 11 times. The communal house is the place to organize the cultural activities to serve the religious demands of the local people. Annually, two big festivals are held here. Tan Khai Communal House was ranked by People's Committee of Binh Phu Province as the provincial historical relic on 18/8/2014.
