Tan Lap Phu Communal House is located in Phu Thinh ward, Binh Long town and built in 1923. This is the place where imprinted the first Vietnamese people to come and reclaim the hamlet Arriving to the new land the people coped up with many difficulties from the natural disasters, diseases wild animals, piracy etc. At that time, Nguyen Dynasty assigned Sir Trinh Hau to manage this land. After many years, he worked with the local people here to stabilize the village, hunt wild animals and eliminate the piracy to bring the peaceful life for the people to be more and more prospective and developed. With the big credits, he was granted by Nguyen Dynasty with the title of Trung Dang Than and the local people built the temple to worship him and considered him as the Thanh Hoang Bon Canh (Tutelary God) of Tan Lap Phu, Binh Long Tan Lap Phu Communal House is the important imprint in the cultural exchange where keeps the traditional cultural values and Southern architecture. The communal house is the place where holds the community cultural activities on 16th of Lunar February and 9h of Lunar September and organizes Ky Yen Festival and Cau Bong Festival from 1st to 3rd of Lunar March annually. The Communal House was ranked by People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province as a provincial relic on 18/8/2015.
