S'tieng Community Wovement Relic ( Westerners Brave )

Located in Phu Rieng Four - Way Intersection , Phu Rieng commune Phu Rieng district , this is the stone stele built by the French Army in 1933 to commemorate the District Chief More which is Ba Ra district today . In 1933 , two brothers Dieu Mon and Dieu Một ( Soc Bu Sum ) who had joined the movement led by N ' Trang Long in 1920S stood up to mobilize S tieng people to join the troop and planed to kill district Chief More . On 25 / 10 / 1933 , the troops were managed to kill District Chief More and his accompanies . The movement was failed then but still recorded the reverberate traces inside the souls of every Ba Ra people and contributed to educate the patriotism , the spirit of the struggle for independence and freedom of Stieng people in particular and Vietnamese people in general . This relic was recognized by Ministry of Culture , Sports and Tourism as the national historical relic on 29 / 5 / 1989
